Recycle Center

The Neosho Recycle Center is a regional drop-off recycling center. The facility serves over 7,000 individual recyclers as well as six other communities and organizations each year.

We are a donation center and DO NOT purchase any materials

The recycle center accepts most traditional recyclables such as:

  • Aluminum
  • Tin cans
  • Batteries
  • Electronics
  • Appliances (any appliance with Freon(refrigerators/freezers/air conditioning units) must have the Freon collected by a licensed HVAC technician
  • Newspapers & Phone books
  • Office Paper/Magazines/White (on the inside) boxes
  • Glass* (SEE BELOW)
  • Textiles


  • Hardback & Paperback books
  • Cardboard/Brown paper and boxes/Cereal boxes
  • Plastic Bottles
    • #1 Plastic Bottles - clear & shiny colored
    • #2 Natural Bottles - milk/tea jugs & similar

City Wide Clean Up Day

The City of Neosho invites all residents to take part in the City Wide Clean Up Days on April 11 & 12, 2025 at the Neosho Recycle Center located at 4700 Howard Bush Drive.

Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
What's Available: Dumpsters and recycling hoppers will be available for residents to dispose of trash and recyclables.

Important Notes:

  • Tires, wet paint, and chemicals will not be accepted.
  • Please bring your City of Neosho water bill as proof of residency.

Whether you’re cleaning out the garage, organizing the backyard, or sorting through that overflowing closet, now is the perfect time to declutter and help keep Neosho beautiful!
